Dictionary of Organic Chemistry ------------------------------------------ This Dictionary of Organic chemistry was constructed in the form of a WinHelp file. It is self loading when you create an icon for it in Windows (see bottom for details). It is aimed at A-Level/ 1st year undergraduate students who need a quick source of information concerning particular subjects in organic chemistry. Although this software is free, you may like to send a little somthing to reflect the work I've done writing it!! Ian McGuinness, 5 Greystoke Drive, Bolton, BL1 7DW Using the Dictionary -------------------------- Use the dictionary just like a normal help file. There are buttons on the top of the page to let the user go to the contents page or move back to the previous page. Any word in green with underlining is a jump link which moves the program to a different page. Any word in bold print has a definition in the glossary, so it may be worth looking at after you have read the article. Putting the Dictionary onto project manager ----------------------------------------------------- 1. Copy the program to a directory on your hard drive. 2. Start windows. 3. Go to the file new section on the program manager menus, find the program name i.e. organic.exe and then an icon will be created in the current group.
